Medium Range

Short Range

 

Set 1

60º step, into horse riding stance, outside knife-hand block and simultaneous palm heel strike to the face.

Control the attacking arm while continuing the strike past your opponent's face.

Pull on the arm as you deliver a back elbow strike to the face.


Set 1

30º step, into high stance, double knife-hand block.

Slide your hands down the arm, placing your thumbs between the 2 major knuckles of your opponent's attacking fist, with your fingers into the meat of the palm.

Step back out (using the same leg you moved to close the distance), into long stance, while twisting the hand and wrenching the wrist joint.

Finish with a front kick to the ribs / chest.

 

Set 2

60º step into horse-riding stance, outside knife-hand block (while chambering the next strike).

Twist into long stance, ridge-hand strike to the groin.


Set 2

30º step, into high stance, reverse knife-hand outer block. Simultaneous inside elbow strike (lead arm).

Spin over lead leg, to deliver a spinning back elbow strike to the ribs or the head. Escape.

Long Range

Set 1

75º step, immediately chambering a side kick.

Side kick to stomach, chest or head depending on flexibility.


Set 2

75º step across your body.

Switch half-turning kick to mid-section

Switch full-turning kick to head section
